An online contest is offering a $25,000 holiday for the winning photographer. Canon is using the ‘Find Your Shot’ contest to mark the release of the EOS400D digital SLR camera. The competition is not exclusive to digital SLR or Canon users. The major prize, as determined by a panel of judges composed of photographer Tim Clayton and television hosts Matt Skirvington and Shelly Craft, is a holiday anywhere in the world valued up to $25,000. Each week the best photo, as judged by the online ‘Find Your Shot’ community, will receive a Canon EOS400D, or $1500 of Canon products. Other opportunities to win include 500 instant cash prizes of $50 simply by registering, as well as the People’s choice award including an ultimate travel experience to a destination of choice valued at up to $5000. To house the gallery and competition, Canon has created a web-based community and online forum providing useful photography tips (www.canon.com.au/findyourshot). For more info, terms and conditions, see the above website. The competition closes on December 5.
